Hey guys and welcome everyone who is reading my journal.
Im 25yo simple guy living in Thailand. Just enjoying life here with a constant great weather, good food and company of my lovely girlfriend.
Just less than a month ago i found PLO for myself and i must say that i never felt so passionate and excited about poker.
To not get into too much on past i can say that I've been familiar with poker for 5+ years. Lifetime up around low five fiqures.
Been traveling most of my twentys. Most of the countrys i chose to go i stayed around six months.
Spain to Cyprus to London (twice) to Paris and now im in Thailand for a half a year already and i do want to stay here indefinitely.

PLO by all means feels like future of the Poker, hope it's not too exaggerated statement.
This game is extremely interesting and i guess it takes quite a time, dicipline and focus to really understand what is how in this game of PLO.
I believe that i've done more reading and digested more info on PLO within month than i ever did on poker related before.
In addition to this forum here, 2+2 and couple of other forums i have read quite some articles about PLO.
Most contirbution so far came from donkr plo from scratch article series which im looking to finish this week.

To continue i want to digest decent material as much as possible without bloating my brain.
In line there is four Jeff Hwang books waiting for me. This should give me reading material for three to four months.
Simultaneously with a start of a first book i will Essential subscribe here and hopefully by the time when i finish Hwang books and watched perhaps around 100h Essential videos i am ready to move on to Elite material.

Goals for 2016
As with everything i try to keep it as simple as possible - step by step approach.

250k+ hands
Improve wisely and study correctly
Play A game consistently, Master B game
Ultra solid table selection
Mental game
BR management

To break down above little bit;
- I believe that volume is very important in PLO, well at any game but especially at PLO since there is 270725 starting hands it is important to learn what to and what not to play and playability of different hands on all the different board textures.
- Improveing and studying goes somewhat paralel with volume. Step by step with quality information. Although i say that volume is important yet i am very aware of quality>quantity.
- A and B game correlate directly with each other and also with first and second point mentioned above.
- Solid table selection is matter of a habit and skill i want to develope. Even though it is probably not so much needed in the micros i can still practice it daily and learn to recognize table dynamics and what kind of player types im playing with.
- Mental game is something that i've been working couple of years now. LAst year more than ever and looking forward to continue with it daily not only for PLO sake but for overall feel good and bit deeper understanding of myself and closest to me and live itself.
- BR management is rather aggressive for now, at least till 25 or 50PLO and then reevaluate.
/// 30BI for current level & 10BI for next level shot e.g 5PLO to 10PLO = reach $250BR = Play 10PLO with 10BI shot.

I started with 2PLO and after 10k hands moved to 5PLO. Have total of 20k hands behind me and around 10buy-in's to go for 10PLO shot.
