Casino Preference
Hey guys.
I'm from Upstate New York, in a small city named Rome. There is a casino not too far away from Rome, (about 15 minutes), which is located in Verona, New York, named Turning Stone Resort & Casino. This is where I play poker. I'm somewhat of a regular in this particular poker room since it's so close to my home, and I'm aspiring to become pro one day. The poker room there is nice. 30 tables, live cash games, daily tourneys, some tourneys bigger than others, bad beat jackpot, good action on the weekends, but it could be better overall. The weekdays are pretty quiet there for some reason, so you end up playing with the regulars and somewhat better players more often, which can be more of a grind at times. I guess to make a long story short, do you all find that the poker rooms in all of the casinos across the US are getting tougher to beat, or are there some out there that are a little bit softer than the rest? I have to admit, Turning Stone can be tough to beat, since there's not that much action there throughout the weekdays, and sometimes even on the weekends. I truly think it's because Turning Stone doesn't value poker as much as their other games like slots, bingo, and blackjack, which contribute a ton of money to that place.
Any feedback on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for you're time.
