Cancel the option to delete posts at any time
not for the first time it seems that a thread that got several (partly detailed) answers suddenly got deleted by the OP.
I think it´s unfair against a) the posters in the thread who put in effort to formulate a detailed answer and b) to other members who could learn from the discussion. It would be a an atrocious scenario for me if one starts a thread and when he´s satisfied with the answers and got what he wanted, he just copies the content and deletes the thread. :(
In my opinion, a thread-starter who got the first reply lost the "ownership" on that thread and should not be permitted to delete the thread anymore. There might be exceptions, but a PM to the mods should be the way to go ... mods can still delete the thread if they agree with the reasons.
What do others / RIO think about that?
