C-betting smaller in 3 bet pots

I've noticed I usually c-bet bigger than I need to in 3 bet pots. I started adjusting, and c-betting closer to 30% instead of 60% on dry boards, and been getting the same amount of folds, but with smaller commitment.

Do smaller c-bets have any downsides? Villains tend to to jam them a little more often, maybe reading me as weak, but I feel like that makes for a great opportunity for value.

Should I c-bet smaller on every dry board, even in non 3bet pots, or are the smaller c-bets only working because the villains put me on a narrower range in 3bet pots?

As long as you bet your whole range the same size on a certain board texture, it's good.
You should c-bet a dry board a little smaller, because you don't lose fold equity with it.
As long as you're aware Villian will peel/float a wider range, it should do fine.

Sauce said in one of his video he goes:
min-raise/3-bet  75% - 75% - shove
2.5x/3-bet 2/3 - 2/3 - shove
3x/3-bet half pot - half pot - shove

Think he gave these sizings, so I think having these as a reference point is good.
Adjust according to board textures and opponents' tendacies.
