Bovada Pay Out Issues
I can't stand the alarmist style of posting that occurs on 2+2 so I decided to post here and share the facts about what is happening in my case
for the benefit of American players on here:
My thoughts and questions:
This is pure speculation, but the payout issues seem to coincide with bitcoin being introduced and allowing unlimited withdrawals via that method. I'm starting to suspect that they are having liquidity problems as a result. Is any one else having similar problems with wires, checks, etc?

I dont know how much you withdraw but bovada seems to have a problem with withdrawal more than 2k at a time.
I dont know what you should do, just wait for the other members to tell you how they did theirs.
Good luck, hope you get your money soon.
Thanks for your input Ace, up until April I had been getting wires for $9500 every week with no issues. I found out from 2+2 that a lot of other people are currently struggling to get wire transfers so it seems like the issue might just be related to the processors.
Just had to say bravo! Cashing out an amount like that on a regular basis is pretty awesome to read about, especially for other Bovada players like myself.
I'm wondering if you would be willing to share what you're playing and what stakes?
Got smaller checks, and CC withdrawals fine march-mid april, I will link to a couple of higher stake friend.
Good luck, this doesn't sound fun.
Thanks Dddogkillah. My wire that I requested April 4th just went through! It seems like it was likely a processor issue as it came in GBP instead of EUR.
Good to hear!!!
This happened to me too. Eventually after like 2 months of no response they put the money back in my account and stopped letting me do wires.
Anybody know when US players will be able to withdraw with Bitcoin?
you can already.
but you need to deposit via bitcoin to let it show in your withdrawal method.
I believe we're able to do so now, but I haven't tried yet. Still setting up my bitcoin accounts
definitely go with bitcoin withdrawels if possible
I don't think they are having liquidity issues or the size of the transaction matters. I just think they have a third party doing sending out money probably for legal reasons. Just a guess but they are probably the cause to their occasional issues. I experienced the same issue recently but was able to cancel all of my pending withdrawals. I created a bitcoin account and made a minimal deposit to bovada to unlock the option on my account. My first bitcoin withdrawal of 9500 was sent less than 18 hours after I requested it. The second arrived 4 days after my request on Sunday night. I am guessing these are more reliable and Bovada doesn't charge a fee bc it anonymous and Bovada doesn't need a third party to process it.
I would cancel you pending wires and do bitcoin for sure. As for the 9500 your missing, you will eventually get refunded it just may take some time. I would just keep calling and bothering them.
Bit coin does sound like the way to go :)
