So had a weekend where I thought I played ok but lost every flip or 60 40 where my tournament life was on the line. It wasn't a massive sample but I had one min cash in about 20 tourneys. Has really bummed me out. Why is it poker either seems like the worst game in the world which no matter how good you play you can't win, or it seems so easy because everything goes the way we want. I remember last year when I had three top five to finishes in huge fields back to back and I am so much better now. I know it is down to variance but I am interested in knowing how some of the community deals with variance. Does it make you lose the love of the game? The good days never seem feel as good as the bad. Just need a pick me up I think and maybe a break from the felt.
