BotOnTilt12 years, 3 months agoIt would be so nice to get a better overview what's included in the cheaper plan. Browsing videos by the date they were published isn't all that useful IMO. All the links with the gametypes just seem to lead me to the forums. Maybe I'm a bit of a noob since I just signed up, but the navigation in this site really seems confusing.
If the plans are divided according to the coaches levels, then it would be great to see into which category they fit in the overview page of the coaches. I think when looking at the coaches page you should see what videos they have made (with links obv). I mean I'm not really all that interested to see what they have liked, would much rather see what videos they have made and it would also be cool if you would see what video they recommend instead of seeing what posts they like. (Well not really sure what the "like" option does as it doesn't seem to do anything when I press it on Galfonds page).
Can you help me. I signed up yesterday for Elite Plan and am still unable to stream some videos inl Phil's PLO vs Gus, Sauce and Isuldur. sirrealdeal12 years, 3 months agofwiw i think you will find more success with a better range of prices. right now the two levels are polarized. i suggest bringing the prices closer together or potentially adding a third level in the middle.
The best thing i can think of for me would be a plan that would include only PLO videos, because there is really nothing else that I came here for but prime PLO vids by the master. Sean Fri12 years, 3 months agoObviously, as the months march on, you'll have a lot more data as to where the revenue is actually coming from, and perhaps you'll decide to change the pricing structure. But I think it's great. From what I've seen of the videos so far, the level of the guys doing the instruction for the $10 plan is so high it makes me think I'm stealing money from you guys considering the stakes I play. Plus, the forums so far are awesome - content wise.
Interfacewise... hm. People have been having trouble with the hand history converter. I'm not a huge fan of the fact that videos (on a Mac) automatically go to full screen mode. The 'my feed' page doesn't make a very useful homepage. Seeing the responses of people I follow to questions I've never read is a little disjointed and confusing, even with the links to the original thread. And obviously, yes, as so many people have pointed out, a searchable database of videos by coach and game type will be very useful as the library grows.
Also, come to think of it, the white-on-grey text in the reply fields makes it a little tough to read what I've written.
I have no doubt that you're working on all of these issues, and that, in time, the response will help you shape both the content and the presentation. I think it's a very handsome design overall, and the content has been, at least for me, way above the price point compared to other sites. I'm happy to be a member, and I hope the community grows for years to come. Thanks for starting it up!
Thanks for the kind words, glad you're enjoying the site! Videos should definitely not be full screening by default on you Mac. I'm viewing the site on a MBP now in Safari (or Chrome) and the videos stay in place until you click the full screen button. Feel free to email support@runitonce.com with what browser your using (and its version) and we'll get you squared away.
Regarding The Feed, the end goal is to allow a repeat visitor to access the content they are most likely to want to see and search for, eliminating the need for them to go looking for it. We view it as very much a work in progress and its functionality will be shaped in large part by suggestions from the community, so feel free to add your thoughts.

In the near future you will be able to:
1) Filter all videos on the Pro Training page by a number of variables
2) Go to a pros page, click videos, and see all the videos they've made.
