Dear fellow poker players! I’m writing this post to ask for your help. My brother’s unborn daughter Zosia (Sophie) was diagnosed with a serious heart defect called Ebstein’s anomaly. The girl’s little heart will have to be operated on shortly after birth. Unfortunately, the operation is really expensive and my family can’t afford to cover all of the costs – roughly €52,000 (~$58,000). It will be performed in Münster, Germany.

Many people have already helped spreading the word and raising the funds, and also a lot of sportsmen, artists and even poker players put up their items up for auction for Zosia’s cause. Famous Polish football player Robert Lewandowski, who currently plays for Bayern München, donated his signed shirt that you can bid on here. Polish poker player Piotr Franczak donated his EPT trophy that he had won at last year’s EPT Malta, so if you have ever wanted one but never got a chance to win it, you can bid on it here. All of the funds will be spent on the aforementioned operation.
