30 days challenge: 100 hours of live poker in 20 US poker rooms

Hi, I am a European proffesional poker player and I will be travelling around several US poker rooms for the next 30 days playing 2/5 to 5/10.

My goal is to play 100 hours of poker in at least 20 different poker rooms. After the session I will provide a review of each poker room along with any other information I find usefull.

First Session: Mohegan Sun Casino NJ

Ok so first session is over. I played on Mohegan Sun Casino at NJ.

The casino
Overall, it's a pretty nice place to play poker. Mohegan Sun Casino is one of the biggest casinos in the East coast probably. You can find everything inside this small ''city''. Restaurants, bars and even night clubs.

Poker room
Playing poker here was nice experience overall (I mean except the result ). Few things I didn't like. For some reason players could use their 100$ bills on the tables instead of chips. Using cash on the table instead of chips makes really hard to see the value of other people stacks. I had to ask all the time, "how much money do you have in your stack". Not the best approach on that issue. Other than that I think it was ok. Action was pretty good, lots of 1/2, 2/5 and 5/10 games running.

SESSION 1
Result: -1815$
Stakes: 2/5
Duration: 7 hours

Parx poker room seems a cool place to play at first glance. There are plenty of games running 24/7
from 1/3 to 5/10 and there is also some plo action.

I have to comment on some annoying issues I run into. Firstly, the service is extremely slow. You have to be very lucky to get a
coffee or a drink. Cashier's big line is another issue. During peak hours I had to wait more than 15min to get some chips because there was only one guy on the cashier desk.

Except those issues poker room seemed to run smoothly, floor managers and dealers was kind and helpful, action was good. Surely a place for someone to grind.

Live Casino Philadelphia
I m still planning to stay for 2-3 more session here, so I ll give my feedback when I m done.
