$10 HUSNG Challenge
Hey Everyone,
Starting tomorrow, April 5, I'm launching a $10 HUSNG challenge. The games will be reg and turbo speeds (no hypers) played on the French site winamax.fr.
I'll start with $400 and consider the challenge complete when I win 60 buy-ins, i.e. when I will have profited $600.
I'll post screen shots of tracker graphs and my balance along the way, as well as some interesting hand histories.
This is my first time taking a shot at anything above the $5 levels.
I've done a previous challenge on here before at the micros, but I've since changed my pseudonym to Trump4Life (Winamax allows you to change your pseudo every 6 months).

Hey,
Thanks for the kind wishes, everyone. I played a few tourneys late last night/early morning today, so my starting bankroll was around 387€, but that's not important. The 60 buy-in goal remains the same, starting from my session this evening.
I reset my sharkscope for noon today, Central European Time, so if ever you're curious you can filter my pseudo for HUSNG from now till the end of the challenge.
Day 1 was excellent. I played very well and ran pretty good, though not as good as the net adjusted line would suggest, as I did, of course, get very unlucky in some cooler spots that were not quite all in pots. All 15 tournaments were turbos which on Winamax are 3-minute blind levels with starting stacks of 1,500 or 75BB. Needless to say, with total confinement in place in the player pool countries of France, Spain, and Portugal, the games are very soft and the action non-stop!
Here are my results:
I may post a hand history or two, but nothing too interesting has come up yet because all of these games except one were against whales.

Good, even though I didn’t cash in any of the three MTTs I played. Not sure I’ll post every day, but I will post later on tonight.

Do you think Winamax competition at this level si comparable to stars competition at 3.5$?

I've never played on Stars, but one great thing about Wina is that the winning regs simply avoid one another. I play strictly fish. None of the regs established at the $10 level challenged me when I started playing; I assume they just sharkscoped my results and left it at that.
That said, from what I read, most HU non-hyper games should be fairly soft up till about the $20 or $30 levels, even on Stars.

Man, you crush husngs. I remember playing these a long time ago. Very nostalgic. I didn't even know they still ran regularly.
Man that's awesome. I havent been following but just stumbled onto this thread because i was thinking of starting a journal. It's inspiring to see other players doing these journals. And of course challenging yourself and winning is super-inspiring.
