Me and villain are both regs in game, both sat down with £1k. Game normally is £1/2/5 but this hand straddle wasn't on. Game been getting quite big and have turned to a £2/5/10 game a few times with similar players. No cap on buy in btw. :)
Everyone on table has £400+. 7 handed.
Played with villain a lot before and he seems pretty good solid (on tight side), waits for good spots vs. fish and value bets well. Think he likes to pot control vs. other regs and doesn't want to get into difficult spots. Times I've played with him, have had some really good spots come up and good run of cards so I think he views me as aggressive. Think he's a reg at £1/2 and only recently been playing bigger.

Opinions on the flop donk bet? (I don't really like it now after thinking about it).
Reason just was I thought he would have a decent amount of air in his 3bet range for this flop that might raise my donk and barrel another street. Since my range looks pretty weak. Also thought he might just go for 2 streets with Jx+ one pair hands on most run outs cause he gets a bit merh value betting regs assuming I'll always call with better and fold worse.
But yea, anyway as played thoughts on river vs. his shove?
Also just thoughts on line I took.
Thanks :)
