Playing 10NL 9-handed with $8 effective stacks
Hero dealt 9d10h on the button
3 limps before hero, hero raises to $0.60
Bb (villain) calls
UTG+3 calls
Flop 6d 10d 8s
checks to hero, bet $1.02
Villain calls, UTG+3 folds
Analysis Top pair, a gut shot and a back door flush draw seems good enough to cbet. Not really sure where I'm at, though.
Turn Jc
Villain checks
Hero bets $2.14
Villain calls
Analysis We turned an up and down straight draw which is why I end up continuing, but looking back the villains line seems really strong. I guess betting this turn could be good to charge / fold out flush draws, but I think a lot of the villains range is over pairs, better 10s, and maybe ace jack. Think my best play here is to check back and hope to improve on the river, what do you guys think?
River 6h
Villain jams for $4.22
Again, think that we should have checked back the turn and folded river on this card and facing a big bet. I guess in that specific case we could be against a busted flush draw, but again I think a lot of his range are stronger pairs than me. As you can tell, I was a little lost in this hand; can y'all help me break this down?

Effective stack is 5.60 -- hero dealt a2 offsuit in the bb, playing 5 handed

Hero raise to 0.40
UTG+1(villain) & SB call
flop 3cAc8d
sb check, hero cbet 0.49
villain raises to 0.98

hero call
given that he limp called pre-flop, i think he could have many suited combo draws such as 24c, 45c, 67c etc.. a3, a8, pocket 3s, pocket 8s.
I decide to call since I'm ahead of a lot of his combo draws and the price is good to continue
turn 7s
hero check, villain 1.89
hero calls
Definitely a tough spot and folding is a decent option, but I think he'd continue to bet with his lower combo draws as well as the combo draws the connect with the 7 (56c, 910c). He'll also continue with any of his two pairs or sets to try to charge a flush draw. We can eliminate a few draws such as 67c as I think he'd check this back now that he has some showdown value.
Given that we're ahead of all of his draws, and we have a blocker to some of his two pairs my plan is to call and try to get to show down cheaply on a brick. If a club or low card comes in, we can potentially jam the river (villain only has about 2.80 effective after turn) and get some of his two pairs to fold.
river 2c
hero bets 2.80 to put UTG all in
We make two pair, however I don't think that changes a lot in this hand -- with the 2c we're pretty much crushed by 100% of his range at this point. Given that, I think our best option is to turn our hand into a bluff and represent the flush hoping we can get his two pairs to fold. I bet enough to put him all in...thoughts?
