Yeah I've considered the shove, but I don't know how it works out jamming 13k into a pot of 3.1k. I guess with the math it may work out if he's 3 betting light so often on the button.

We were at roughly 120 hands at this point. Though that's not a good estimate for how many buttons he had because we were 5 handed the first level and a half, then gradually grew to 9 handed for about a half hour, but were back down to 7 handed within a half hour. Hindsight, should have mentioned we were at 7 handed.

Blinds were 150/300 with 25 ante
I'm sitting at about 13000 chips.
UTG+1 (about 15k) a passive guy raises to 700
John Racener (about 25k) on the button reraises to 1800 which has been standard for him on the button. He was 3 betting about 70-80% of his buttons when there was action behind.
I'm in the BB with AKo and make it 3300.
UTG+1 insta mucks
John Racener makes it 5600.
I fold after a bit of thinking.
The way I look at it he's not turning up worse than AK here though I do have blockers to AA, KK, and AK.
Is it likely he's 5 betting light here?
Is it better for me just call the 3 bet? I think this invites the UTG+1 player, but other than being passive I have no real read on this guy because he's never gotten to showdown.
Should I have made my 4 bet larger?
Is there any value in calling his 5 bet which commits half my chips preflop?
Can I really justify a shove here?
EDIT: We were 7 handed at this point.
Also, I want to add I was in a similar position later in the match where I 4 bet again but from the SB with AKdd. Racener tanked eye'd up my stack for a count and folded. Though I obviously did not have that information during the hand in question. I had a slightly higher chip stack at this point but our stack ratios were roughly the same.
Is it really a bad thing equity wise to allow him to a flop when I have AKo? Even though I'm oop, I don't really see an issue with seeing a flop with AKo in this particular spot. I know UTG+1 can't call unless he's sitting on KK or AA and with Racener's, what appeared to be loose range on the button, I'm inviting weaker broadway cards into the mix.
I guess what I'm asking is there really more value in trying to get him to fold preflop AKo than letting him see the flop with significantly weaker/dominated hands? I don't know, I'd imagine these tend to be relatively closer than I would have given credit.
This is just the way I look at it, but the thing about AK is when I flop I'm going to flop strong enough to continue and when I miss it's easy to get out of the hand regardless of position. On top of that with having 4 bet out of the blinds I can easily check raise bluff a lot of situations on a lot of low unconnected rainbow flops too because I could easily be holding QQ-AA. In that case he'd only really be able to call with a set or two pair.
Thoughts?
