Has anybody gotten to take a look at Peter Clarke's "Modern 3bet Ranges"? Looking for help in understanding why his IP vs CO Range seems to be so much wider than the range here. Is this more a default range, and then we are to expand and exploit it our discretion?
Or does it all come down to villains RFI and open sizing?
Trying to employ this type of strategy, but having trouble.
Thanks!

Thanks for your response, it just seems though at the micros, an argument can be made that the majority of the time, there is a weaker player behind or in the blinds. Right? Which would make your ranges kinda linear mixed. Have you seen his ranges?
For example hes folding 66 in the BU vs a HJ open. Are the mid pocket pairs really -EV these days with rake? Even at like 10nl , where you are more likely to ge paid off? Just curious since in The GM, it was a call.
Still learning, just this kinda tripped me up. Cheers.

Hello everyone,
Was wondering if anybody has had a chance to see the latest content from Peter Clarke, where he advocates a linear 3bet or fold strategy for every position except the BB. I am a new player and have been studying his Grinders Manual for months, and now I'm confused trying to construct calling/3bet ranges
I am fairly new to the game, yet I know this idea of 3bet or fold is not new, just in my googling couldn't find a lot of in depth discussion on the subject. It's very intriguing for someone new to the game like myself.
He has a podcast as well where he explains the idea a bit more, explaining that there are exceptions when you would call, but he says he only shares that with his students.
Any thoughts?
Cheers!
Thanks!
