Hand History | Coreprime posted in NLHE: AK 3bet pot OOP Flop play
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 (5 Players) SB: $35.21
BB: $17.77
UTG: $29.25
CO: $35.15 (Hero)
BN: $25.42
Villian plays 18/15/7 , no reads postflop
Preflop ($0.35) Hero is CO with K A
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.75, BN raises to $2.25, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.50
His 3bet BUvCO is 5% , no sample on his fold vs 4bet. I think pre its not wise to 4bet/call vs a 5% 3bet range, so I call
Flop ($4.85) 4 T 7
Hero checks, BN bets $3.00, Hero folds
Now Flop is a spot Im allways lost. I call AK oop cause I cant 4bet/call it and then I dont hit the Flop. Villain cbets 65% on the Flop.
Is it ok to fold such a Flop and only continue when I hit a pair or Flops like 234, QJx, 662, or 1 Card FDs ?? Or do I have to float these kinds of flops ? thx !
Final Pot BN wins $4.63
Rake is $0.22

Hey, really nice video, enjoyed viewing it. I have a few questions regarding your BB play vs BU minraises.

12:05  A2o you 3bet v BU minr

31:30  K4o you fold v BU minr

Given the odds and the EQ vs common BU minraise ranges I considered both hands to be easy calls without further reads/stats on villain. Could you explian why you 3bet A2o and folded K4o ?

thanks, Core
