Seeing as the turn brought a spade draw, I thought this could open up enough hands in his range to warrant a check raise (Aces with spades, Kings with spades, AJ with spades etc) and obviously, seeing as I have a 7 blocker this decreases the likelihood of a set overall.
Of course, there is the argument that I should have folded pre, but with position against a passive opponent I think I can make this a profitable hand, despite the lowness of it. But was it a standard play to commit after his check raise?
