Trashy AA hands deep
HJ: $5
CO: $66.46
BN: $48.41 (Hero)
SB: $20
BB: $20
CO: $66.46
BN: $48.41 (Hero)
SB: $20
BB: $20
HJ and pretty big mark so far early (100/30/30) over 15 hands
CO is a spwey maniac. (43/30/13 over 250 hands) 4b 10% and has cold four bet many ds disconnected hand in pass)
SB solidish reg,
BB Another Lag (38/28/14 over 600 hands 3b from blinds ~20%)
I know that in some previous posts I have talked about sandbagging some of the bottom of our 3b range in order to either play really deep on the button or get a lot more money in PF with a 4b or 5b with what should be an equity advantage against our spewy opponents.
This was a perfect example of how this hand could play out and I obviously loved the spot given my reads.
However I started to think would I have called the button is the CO was a TAG or solid LAG player. I think that with out history I could see myself folding these sad looking type of AA hands PF with only 5 bbs of 240 invested.
I was thinking how wide of a 4b/5b range do we need to put someone on in this spot to make the call? I figures that a lot of the hands that a good CO player will 4b/5b with play really well against our hand and the hands we want to play AIPF against would probably flat and play multiway with some money behind.
Any thoughts?
