Villain has been 3betting maniacally in position (20% overall 3bet over 250 hands) and cbetting most of the time. Is this a hand we can consider 4betting with these stack sizes against someone who's going nuts 3betting? On the flop, I can check-pot for about half of remaining stacks, but this makes it obvious I'm going with the hand and forces him to play pretty well I think (just continue with hands that have enough equity vs a stacking off range). Once the spade hits on the turn I'm pretty sure I just have to check-fold. Is there any sense in check-calling flop, planning to check-shove "safe" turns?
