Thoughts on a hand please
6 max 0.05/0.1 plo
HJ/UTG - $8.26
CO - Hero - $9.03
BTN - $8.15
SB - $6.10
BB - $8.26
Hero has only just arrived at game so new read on players - a couple of seen hero play before but not for any length of hands..
HJ limps
Hero limps
BTN limps
SB raises to $0.60
BB calls and all limpers call
Hero has: Ad,3d,6h,9c - thought it was worth making the call on the off-chance; when I first thought about the hand it was the one play I didn't like..
Flop: $3 in pot: 4d,8d,Ac - oh dear, thinks Hero, PLO special coming up!!
SB leads for $2.20
BB flats
HJ - folds
Hero (CO)- jams all in $8.53 more
BTN - calls cold
SB and BB call as well
All players are all-in.
My initial thought was that even if everyone calls - which is likely but not impossible in this kind of game, I must have >20% equity. Not knowing how to run simulations yet (must learn) I'm now not so sure...
Turn - Qd - Yipee
River - 10h - Dble yipee with bells on!!
Obviously I was delighted to win the pot - now I'm not 100% sure what to make of my play.
Other hands: BTN - 7h,5h,8s,6d - not sure re flop call cold given that board?
SB - 5d,7d,Kc,6c - pre-flop raise of 3 limpers oop??
BB - 7c,5c,Qh,Qs - calling the flop with 3 people to act?
