strong but non-nutty hands in multiway pots

HJ: $34.47
CO: $18.15
BN: $26.81
SB: $25 (Hero)
BB: $21.56
UTG: $13.10
Preflop ($0.35) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt J 9 J 7
UTG folds, HJ raises to $0.75, CO folds, BN calls $0.75, Hero calls $0.65, BB calls $0.50
Flop ($3.00) 9 8 8 (4 Players)

Another spot I'm struggeling with a ton.
It's in the nature of micros to face a lot of 3w+ flop spots. The proper adjustment is to especially play hands with nutty flop-potential and hot or cold equity (or however it's cold) and try to play very positionally aware.
Yet, there are still a decent number of spots where it feels weird to fold certain hands (like this one) just because we are OOP and our FDs are not to the nuts.

In this hand all 3 villains are bad.
- MP is 52/28 is a semi-reg and pretty aggro postflop. No further reads tho due to small sample.
- BTN is 80/13 and a big callingstation.
- BB is 69/15 and very passive postflop aswell.

First question: This hand is a call and a call only preflop right? I'd prlly start folding JJ96ds and worse due to the lack of connectivity.
Second question: How do we play the flop?
- I'm reluctant to donkbet since we don't have that strong of a hand and we def don't lack at ok turncards.
- X/calling however just smells like ugly turnspots. 4way there is def a high chance of higher FDs and/or 8's going on.
- X/folding seems kinda reasonbale since it's a 4way pot but then I would seriously think about folding preflop if I'm only calling to flop topset or the nutstr8. Are we deep enough to call here just to nutpeddle at an extremly high level?
