silly spot on the flop
Hey guys,
I have a pretty stupid spot from 5/5 live plo, I was going to post it under live subsection but that section seems to be pretty dead.
Preflop: straddled pot, 1 limper, the guy to my right is an aggro reg who posted his missed bb and now just calls, he would be raising very wide here from HJ, I'm CO and raise to $60 with A4hhJ9ss. straddler is also reg.
Flop:
($300) Ts 8s 5d
BB shoves all in for $300, everyone folds to the reg in HJ who tanks a while and calls, I have 1.3k he covers.
BB - random fish, no real reads, he is down so who knows wtf he can have, in general though this live game tend to play fairly straight forward postflop.
Villain - myself and villain are both NL regs, what I know about him is that he is pretty rich and very gambly also he never hollywoods with strong hands here with just me left to act, so my read is that he has a very marginal hand. I heavily discount all sets, and nut flush draw, if anything I think BB is pretty likely to have those.
Would appreciate comments both pre and what to do OTF with a plan for the turn, I also have a follow up math question after I get some answers and will disclose results of what happened. Thanks guys.
Oh I'm also curious how your decision changes if the flop is Ts5s8d instead.
