PLO100 Zoom - Turn decision in 3bet pot
SB: $348.60
BB: $120.09
UTG: $110 (Hero)
HJ: $100
CO: $110.45
Hero raises to $3.50, HJ folds, CO folds, BN folds, SB raises to $11.50, BB folds, Hero calls $8
No reads on this Villain. I think preflop is kinda questionable but I have position, I am closing the action and most importantly the hand looks soooo pretty ;-) (just a joke)
Flop: I decided to check back to A) not get XR in case he has a set and wants to XR me (unlikely though) and B) my hand has some improvement potential. Basically I just wanna sea Turn and see what happens. (I like seeing Turns ;-) )
Turn: He bets half pot~ish. I now have a bad FD and a GS and a weak pair. All in all I don't think my hand is good enough to call but too good to fold. So I thought this would add up to a good reason to go for a small raise/fold line as I think I have some decent FE given Villains line. Plus I actually have some strong hands in my range here (KJ, KK, decent Draws I am now willing to go with...) Plus Villain might very well play AA** that way (bet/folding the Turn) plus I block some of the Draws he might call with.
Any critics on my thought process?
Thanks in advance.
