PL25 linecheck: spot to trap nut str8 with some blockers?

Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 (5 Players) BB: $38.24
UTG: $27.72
CO: $62.50 (Hero)
BN: $24.87
SB: $62.50
no meaningful reads on villain,
seems laggy/fishy over a small sample
Preflop ($0.35) Hero is CO with 6 7 T 6
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.87, BN calls $0.87, SB folds, BB calls $0.62
Might even be too loose of an open given that the BTN is quite laggy and there was another loose passive in the BB. I probably didn't know that much when playing this hand as it was at the beginning of my session.
Flop ($2.96) T 4 5
BB checks, Hero bets $2.10, BN calls $2.10, BB folds
Turn ($7.16) T 4 5 8
Hero bets $5.30, BN calls $5.30
River ($17.76) T 4 5 8 3
Hero bets $17.01, BN folds
Final Pot CO wins $17.01
Rake is $0.75

I'm pretty bad at finding good spots to trap with big hands so I wonder if turn or river might be one of those. Seems like having two 6 and a T favors checking whereas I only have the bottom end of the str8 and might run into difficult river spots if it brings the higher str8. Upside is that he might turn a stronger 2pair and definitely payoff one more big street and I can incentivice him to make a bad call if he bets with hands like T5, T97 and the like. Downside is that he might check back and not payoff hands like QJT7 if the river is a K.

What about trapping on the river? Bombing it like I did was probably dumb because I can really only get value from weak 2pairs or a random A2 str8 now and then. I guess at the time it felt weird to me leaving $7 behind when betting. Is it a good spot to check here and hope it turns some weak pairs and misses into a bluff or should still just bet small and hope he calls with some 2pairs?
