OP+gutter in 3way 3bet pot
SB: $25 (Hero)
BB: $25
UTG: $11.76
HJ: $36.26
CO: $24.40
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO raises to $0.85, BN folds, Hero raises to $2.80, BB calls $2.55, CO calls $1.95
Sorry guys for posting so many hands today. I'm currently reviewing a ton of hands I played in the last 3 days. I hope it's ok to post that much. If not, please let me know.
To the hand:
CO is a 24/18 player over only 30 hands. No reads on him.
BB plays 31/19. I'm not sure yet how good or bad he is. I saw him cc a 3bet once with 9776dd and x/shove 223dd vs cbet+fold for a SPR of 3-4 so he def takes some unusual lines.
On this flop I have only 24,5% vs a range of 10% for BB and 20% for CO. Is this a legitimate logic to just calculate the flop EQ vs villains preflop range and see how we do?
If we have 25% vs their overall range, only 2.8 times the pot left and some FE (both of them are not gonna fold often, but we will get it in HU a fair amount of the time), is this enough reason tho shove?
I also think I like checking to see what happens (fold vs shove+call) but our hand feels a lil strong for that, doesnt it?
If we get it in (HU) vs a range of NFD, sets, 2p, wrap, oesd+fd, pair+fd, oesd+TP we have 33% vs a 10% pre range and 36% vs a 20% pre range. AI 3way vs the two ranges we drop down to 18%.
I'm not that good at analyzing as you can see but my conclusion would be that it's still ok to gii vs one player but not vs 2.
If we bet and face 2 shoves we have to fold a decent hand with good EQ which sucks. Bet/calling seems too loose as well tho.
I feel like we are kinda forced to x and see what happens here?
Help would be sooo appreciated. Gaining insight in these spots is one of my biggest concerns atm!
