KKxx on A22 3 way - flop thought process

CO: 20.20 (Hero)
BN: 20
SB: 18.06
BB: 20
UTG: 28.18
HJ: 34.53
BU is a fairly aggressive reg (27/22), I expect him to bet almost 100% of the time if checked to in this spot.

SB is a more passive/fishy player (26/12).

Preflop (0.30) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt 4 K K 5
UTG folds, HJ folds, Hero raises to 0.60, BN calls 0.60, SB calls 0.50, BB folds
Flop (2) A 2 2 (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks, BN bets 1.40, SB folds, Hero raises to 4
I'm not sure if I played this in the most +EV way or not or how to balance my range a bit here. But I'm playing less tables and my current aims are to simply think about each decision more.

Since BU is going to stab alot here then checking makes alot of sense with a big portion of my range. That way I can see use my position well, see what happens.

So if button stabs and sb calls then I think this is an easy fold.

Once bu stabs and sb folds then I couldn't decide whether to call or raise. I opted for a raise in the end because I think it puts Axxx in an awkward position, plus check/raising here with a large portion of my range seems good and if called we have some nice backdoor equity. If I had AAxx here I would check/call because I've got a note on villan that he can triple barrel his air - unbalanced but probably the best play

Would love to hear some thoughts on my own thoughts
