Is it ok to short stack 40BB in PLO?
I was just wondering is it ok to short stack (40BB) in 6max PLO? And is it a good strategy to employ if your prone to tilt?
I was watching a few $25/$50 PLO games on Pokerstars on Saturday and 'TheRealAndyBeal' was always buying back in with only 40BB. Also there were a couple others on the table with 2k. Although It doesn't seem to be the case so much at the middle levels, maybe 1 shortstacker per table.
Anyway I was wondering is this a good strategy to play at the low/micro levels, especially if your prone to tilt? Which I am. Or will this tilt me even more? I was thinking of trying this strategy along with the tiltbreaker software to help me overcome this problem and reduce the variance.
