Hello, I am recently a convert from NLHE to PLO (after reading how much funner and more profitable the game is) and I have been looking into the key concepts to master within the game. One thing I have been reading about a lot is how backdoor equity can have a big change on the amount of equity a hand will have on the flop. Obviously I can set up excel, and number crunch all the different scenarios, but is there a general rule of thumb for things like backdoor flushes, straights, sets etc, which I can add to my equity. Obviously with things like blocker and anti-nut cards this will change the number of outs, but surely there must be a general rule for backdoor equity?
