5PLO ZOOM - bet flop, check raise turn as PFR on draw-heavy board

BN: $5.94
SB: $2.50
BB: $2.50
UTG: $2.04
HJ: $16.88 (Hero)
CO: $12.88
Preflop ($0.07) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt J Q 9 T
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.17, CO folds, BN calls $0.17, SB calls $0.15, BB folds
Flop ($0.56) Q 2 9 (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.45, BN calls $0.45, SB calls $0.45
Turn ($1.91) Q 2 9 5 (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks, BN bets $1, SB calls $1, Hero raises to $5.84

Both opponents are basically unknowns at this point with a VPIP around 40 over a tiny sample.

The SB has a shallow stack but the BTN still has $5.32 behind on the turn. A lot of rivers are going to be ugly for me out of position so I thought it'd be best to get the money in on the turn. With the amount of draws out there and me showing weakness by checking I thought there was a more than decent chance BTN would stab at the pot. Granted I have no information on how aggressively he plays his draws.

We block the hands that have us in really bad shape (sets with a flushdraw). I also feel we can discount a lot of the really strong hands/draws somewhat as neither player raised the flop. And even against a hand like AhKhTsJs (kind of the worst scenario) we have 50% equity. So I'm very comfortable getting it in here. A fair assessment?
