Stars has introduced a 5 card variant of both Omaha and O8 mtts where each player gets 5 cards at a full table. I thought it would be better to post this here than the mtt section where most people play NLHE mtts because it's a more general question. Instinctively I thought it better to wait for super nutted starting hands since the combinations would be ungodly with that many cards. It becomes increasingly difficult to find hands without danglers though and where all 5 cards work together. As usual it seemed as if very active agro players were winning all of the chips and seemingly not applying tight standards at all to their starting hands. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
