3b pot. floating w\ draw vs raise (on paired bord) OOP

SB: $50 (Hero)
BB: $22.78
UTG: $61.46
HJ: $31.01
CO: $105.37
BN: $50.50
Preflop ($0.75) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt Q J 7 9
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO folds, BN raises to $1.17, Hero raises to $4.01, BB folds, BN calls $2.84
V is tag. 23\14 fold vs 3b OTB = 18%, open BU - 60%
raise vs cbet (3b pot) 41% (21 samples)
2.1k hands; wtsd 25%
Flop ($8.77) K 9 K (2 Players)
Hero bets $5, BN raises to $13.25, Hero calls $8.25
Turn ($35.27) K 9 K Q (2 Players)
Hero checks, BN checks
River ($35.27) K 9 K Q 6 (2 Players)
Hero bets $32.74, and is all in

few questions here:

3b is just bad, yeah?

shove>call>fold otf? or calling better?

do we have to turn it into bluff otr? I'm pretty sure we can make him fold straights (and random AQ** for sure)

or checking still preferable?

what is optimal (most reasonable) play vs reg here, if say we end up having K-9 straight?
