Hey gang....here's another hand that I had questions about. 

The majority of the players at the table were loose-passive but not spewy. The main question I have regarding this hand is what should my calling range from the small blind when facing a raise from the button? Is my hand a fold? A flat call? Or a 3-bet? 

Can someone give me a valid reason why I should have folded the hand preflop? Make a simple flat call? Or 3-bet this hand? I really want to know "WHY" I should or should not play this hand in the SB as opposed to any other position. 

If anyone can answer this please do so, should my range of hands only be AAxx or KKxx from the blinds? Or do I have a little bit more wiggle room with hands like QQxx and JJxx?


With me 3-betting OOP, I had to play the remainder of the hand not knowing if I were far ahead or way behind. Since I had hit trips on the flop, I felt like I had no other option but to bet pot and try to win it right there. But the BB decides to GII with the remaining chips and binks a king on the river.
