2/5 live: well, i can beat A hi?
i certainly feel i could have played the hand different to make it easier to play, but not necessarily a better way to play.
effective stacks are 1.2k?
folds to me i open CO AcTcTs9s to 20, btn folds villain makes it 70 from SB, bb folds, i call
Flop: Jc8d4s, he checks i decided to check back (how relavent is having TT here to betting vs checking? as were ahead of other 9t combos)
Turn: 8c he leads 125, i called. after looking back on it raising in this spot seems best as he probably has very few 8s, i can fold comfortable to a 3bet, and prevent him from realizing any equity w/ KK type of hands (but im not sure how many are in his range given his flop check) 0r pr+gs/OP+gs, agree?
Riv: 3s he fired 400 relatively quickly. I find both is bet sizing and timing to be odd given the top of my range is 8x, and i have a lot of missed draws. my hand blocks a lot of the 8x combos he would be three betting with, except from random OP+8x. i cant find a reason for him to turn QQ+ into a bluff, and it should be obvious AJ/KJ has some sd value and would probably be checking to pick off a bluff by me, so he feels super polarized to me to JJ/J8 (of which i block a lot of) or missed draws himself, and potting them didnt make much since to me since the majority of my range is missed draws here.
just covering my bases: i dont think raising river has much merit given his sizings (except not letting him see my hand)
thoughts on river options? call here w/ QQ+gs, fold TT? and line in general? is raising turn here that much better for these reasons?
