10/25 PLO Live: Higher EV to jam possible freeroll or bluff some rivers
Villain is pretty nitty passive with occasional bluffs to weakness, but is visibly frustrated given hero has been running hot vs him last 15min.
Folds to hero in SB. Hero raises to $75 with Q8ccT4hh, BB calls.
Flop Kh5hJd. Pot $150
Hero bets $125, villain calls.
Turn Ad. Pot $400
Hero bets $375, villains raises to $1500, with about $3k back effective.
Villain has QTxx the vast majority of the time here. Is it higher ev to jam hoping I have a freeroll, or would calling and betting about $2k on board pairs and smaller on heart rivers while c/f diamonds. I'd probably not bluff diamonds board pairs given I just think he has significant combos of qtdd, and I wouldn't bet heart board pairs given I'm not folding out better nor getting called by worse often.
I'd be bluffing about 8 rivers, I'd c/f diamonds fairly successfully given I don't think he would turn naked QT into a bluff. Hearts I'd lose value on vs jamming cuz i don't really think he would call often to anything but a very small lead. Jamming is significantly better the rare occasions he has like set+FD and I'd be igniting $ on some of my bluff cards.
