[Theory] Trouble playing 3B pot OOP BvB
I've looked at my database, and I find that I just lose a lot when I flat a 3B BvB.
Even with my almost nutted hands I elect to defend vs 3B, because not comfortable to GII PF (AQs, AQo, 88-JJ), I lose at 384.01 bb/100 ("only" -300bb if I had elected to fold PF versus the 3B).
I know the sample is small (239 hands total), but even when I looked at another range of hands (that PokerSnowie say to defend), I just lose a ton :
22-77 : -662bb (26 hands),
KQo, KJo, QJo : - 351bb (78 hands),
K9s-KQs ; Q9s-QJs : -570bb (80 hands),
56s-JTs ; T8s-J9s : -148bb (YEAAAAAH) (66 hands)
A2s-AJs : -436bb (49 hands)
Total : 520 hands (that's seems a good enough sample on a 3M+ hands database), and I lost at -405bb, with all sort of hands... Maybe I am the worst player ever postflop (I have of course made mistakes on these 500 hands but probably not a lot...), but it seems to me that's calling a 3B BvB OOP is massively -EV.
I have just add the BvB 3B stat on my HUD today and I was very surprised a lot of regz are 3 betting like 15%-20% with a lot of crap (K7o, T2s), sometimes up to 25 or 30%... That's seems exploitable, but I don't know how...
Should I have only a fold or 4B range ? That's seems very counter-intuitive versus a polarized range...
