The monotone board problem

Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 (4 Players) CO: $79.77
BN: $50.00
SB: $93.44 (Hero)
BB: $59.08
play vs a REG
Preflop ($0.75) Hero is SB with K A
CO folds, BN raises to $1.25, Hero raises to $5.00, BB folds, BN calls $3.75
Flop ($10.50) T K Q
Hero bets $3.29, BN calls $3.29
i dont know how to play monotone boards yet. Reasons to bet i can think of is: 1) we hit board 2) our range needs some protection.
Turn ($17.08) T K Q 4
Hero checks, BN checks
i think the 2 options are: block bet or check? Maybe a blockbet is good because we can get called by less, and gives some protection.
River ($17.08) T K Q 4 Q
Hero checks, BN bets $11.92, Hero folds
looks like i can only call here if i think he is bluffing his low/medium pairs with a diamond. I dont think they do that on this limit enough so i fold.
Final Pot BN wins $16.33
Rake is $0.75
