Playing Top Pairs/Over Pairs on Wet Boards
CO: larry31: $50.75
BN: Hyped2Death: $77.17
SB: DrHoff: $50
BB: i8bet72off: $56.18
UTG: lamma404: $123.23
lamma404 folds, PutMyRobeOnRITE raises to $1.33, larry31 calls $1.33, Hyped2Death folds, DrHoff folds, i8bet72off folds
the co Larry31 was 19/16 with a 3% 3-bet, no particular reads, I didn't have a lot of hands on villain.
Usually I c-bet these wet boards with my good top pairs and over pairs, I'm wondering if it's correct to check them out of position or in position...Basically I get scared I'm going to get raised or a bad card is going to peel on the turn like a T of diamonds when I have AA or TPTK on JT9tt/T98tt/987tt or a board like this with one gap and still wet. The only line I have on these boards is bet/fold, that's all I know how to do, lol. Is it better to check and wait for a safe turn? Should I just bet fold against nits/tighter types? (I think that's correct). Obviously AA is diff than AJ as with AA there is more Jx villain can have. Anybody have an opinion on how to approach these spots?
-Thanks!
