NL50 twopair vs a reg, fml spot

Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 (6 Players) BN: $89.17
SB: $71.15
BB: $54.44 (Hero)
UTG: $50.00
MP: $53.08
CO: $58.24
Villain is an unimpressive reg. Based on my notes, he can do stuff like 3b 35s BBvMP or call 4b with 43s.
25/20 over 1600 hands. Opens CO 32%, cbet in non3bp 66%. WTSD 32%, WSd 53%, WWSF 57 (fairly high...). Fold to F xR 0/4, float T 3/9 (But thats not relevant I think).
Def. fairly aggro ott. I should also have unusually aggressive image.

BTN is a very lucrative rec.
Preflop ($0.75) Hero is BB with A 8
2 folds, CO raises to $1.50, BN calls $1.50, SB folds, Hero calls $1.00
preflop Im calling only because the rec called, I dont really like squeezing or folding
Flop ($4.75) A 8 J
Hero checks, CO bets $3.40, BN calls $3.40, Hero raises to $12.50, CO calls $9.10, BN folds
Flop gets tricky. I'd definitely just xC vs a cbet, but once BTN calls, I think that raising and hoping for CO's fold and BTN's call is a decent option.
Its not like our hand is going to be too easy to play later on.
This might be a spew and the more I think about, the more I like calling. Esp since this+88 are the only truly strong hands in my range, I'd sqz most AJ combos.
Turn ($33.15) A 8 J 2
Hero checks, CO bets $19.00
Turn...I panicked. Not sure if there is a lot of value to be had. And after he bet this sizing, that commited him, it just looks like a fold.
Is b/f better? Do we b/c? xF?

What do you guys think? I think that pf is std, and both F and T decision are debatable/tough/I have no idea.

thanks
