NL25: 3b KK OOP slightly deep, T97 2tone flop

Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 (6 Players) BN: $36.72
SB: $39.07 (Hero)
BB: $28.50
UTG: $25.66
MP: $49.00
CO: $25.00
villain 14/14 over 20 hands
Preflop ($0.35) Hero is SB with K K
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.70, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.50, BB folds, MP calls $1.80
Flop ($5.25) 9 T 7
Hero

Any ideas about what to do here? With some sort of BD I'd definitely c/c but since I can't call 3 on most, probably not even any runout, I don't see what it accomplishes with this hand. I basically always expect multiple barrels once I check and he bets the flop. OTOH betting can put me in almost the same awful spot if he goes ahead and raises, now in a bigger pot. Should I maybe just check my entire range here, especially slightly deep where this board should hit his defending range even harder?
