NL100 KK 3bet pot.
CO: $113.97
BN: $110.61
SB: $108.38 (Hero)
BB: $231.62
HJ folds, CO folds, BN raises to $2, Hero raises to $6.50, BB folds, BN calls $5
Villain is a reg, not many hands on him or good reads.
Flop I start by either check-raising or check-calling on this board. Thoughts on that?
With this strategy KK seems way too weak to c-r for value, so I call.
Turn I have these "medium" strenght overpairs and 1 pair hands with bunch of draws. Is it reasonable to play shove/fold on this turn with most of my range? Hes definitely gonna have hands like 88, 77, maybe JJ, 87s, T9s that are absolutely crushing me.
How do you approach these flops that should hit the btn calling range really hard?
I was definitely lost on this hand and ended up shoving, just thinking its reasonable atleast.
Also noticed after the hand that me having both the Kd and Kc is probably significantly bad for me (especially the club)??
