Hi guys! I´ve been a member for a few months now but this is my first post, hope that I´m welcome too the community! :)

Now, too the hand.

I made the fold pure on reflex, thinking "Damn, hes gotta have the straight!", but in retrospec I really, really feel that the fold was totally wrong. The main piece of information, in context of the villains action, was that he only called the big blind before my preflop raise. I don´t really think that you would only call with QJ on the button(and UTG pre) in that situation. Second, I would expect a raise either on the flop but most sertainly on the turn. With the nuts you don´t wanna miss value in a spot like that, especially when I´m only betting half pot on both streets.

Bear in mind that I had no read what so ever on the villain, it was the first hand I´ve been playing with this guy.

P.S It was probably stupid of me too only bet 1/2 pot on two streets to begin with, missing out on value. But thats a different story. :) Oh, and the stakes are not 1-2 dollars, It´s in swedish crowns(low stakes).

EDIT: Also, going from halfpotbets on two streets to a potbet on the river, is that giving something away?
