Microstakes Short Stackers
Having a bit of trouble with these guys in spots, especially when it's multiway. A lot of players are sitting at 20-50 bb's but playing a super nutted range when they do respond to or show aggression themselves. Their short stack, the complexity of the math it introduces, and the fact that it's difficult to fold to a 10-12 bb stack when it's the flop or turn and you have a hand like TPTK - all make this a topic I'd like to dig into now.
How do you best handle this? Where's a good place to start understanding the math behind these situations and what kind of ranges I should be playing vs these types of players? It's always nice to only lose 30-40 bb's instead of your entire 100+bb stack, but overall I'm struggling enough here that it's hurting my winrate. I'd post some example hands here but it's difficult right now since the one site I'm playing on has no huds and the other one just got updated so the hud needs an update to work with it again. So, flying hudless playing 5nlz and 10nl 6max right now. Might deposit on WPN just so I can get some work in with PT4 tracking hands.
