Live 1-3 Bad Aggro Straddles Button
Bad Aggro Bttn $5 straddles w $200 stack
4 Limps, 1 of them being a player who will call super wide preflop even against very large opening sizes. He has around $110
other limpers have around $200 each
Hero covers table and has ATss HJ
My standard with a straddle on is to raise $15-$20 depending on how the table is reacting, and add an additional $5 on top for every limper. This works pretty well in the games I play as I kind of have to make it rather large to get it heads up and 3 way. Going smaller really isnt an option because I'll end up going to a 6 way flop over and over.
Given my raise size here is going to be $40, I'm curious as to opinion on what my opening range should look like, and if ATss is going to make it in. If I pop it to $40 here, I will certainly get called by worse hands, but think theres a good change I go a minimum of 3 -way at a very high frequency, because the bad aggro will call almost anything, and the other loose limper will call alot as well, which will encourage other limps to call wider as well. The otther option is to just limp it behind and raise a range like KQo+, AJo+, QJs+, TT+. ATs seems right on the border, as I would likely just limp behind a hand like JTs, QTs, KTs.
Would like to hear arguments for what you think.
Thank you
