I know this is a strategy more commonly implemented at small stakes and upwards and I rarely see it at 25nl from regs.

Was wondering why this is.
-Is it because rake is higher and it is higher EV to not see a flop and to increase FE.
-Is it because micro players don't defend bb enough and it is more profitable to raise sb.
-Is it just because this trend hasn't caught on yet at the micros because players don't understand the merits of it.

Would live to hear some thought on this :)
