Light flop call, thin river bet
BB: $2.28
UTG: $2.42
CO: $2.00
BN: $2.43 (Hero)
BB seemed loose pre and standard post, first donk (2 opportunities)
I usually make the assumption that donks are weak pairs (4x, 7x, 88-QQ) and some semi-bluffs (on this board a spade draw). Given i have a weak 4 here i think the flop call might be a little light as i only have 7 perceived outs. I think its fine, given i have no reads on how villain will play turn and 8+ should be bad for a lot of his pairs. If that's the case i'd expect a turn c/c and probably river c/c.
On the turn i think this call is standard, even if BB has A7/QQ i still get pot odds to call for the straight. Argument against this is of course i get put in a weird spot half the time if i hit, the flush completes and villain bets.
On the river, given villain doesn't bet, i figure i should be able to bet/fold for thin value. Even if villain plays tricky and checks nutted hands i have a really easy fold as i beat nothing that would c/r the river (people at this level aren't good enough to c/r bluff in this spot) also a lot of his flop made hand range (from my perception 4x, 7x, 88-QQ) won't bet after 2 calls and the flush completing, but might call a small bet (hence my sizing)
NOTE: i mention 4x a lot above, but after thinking about it, i find it hard for him to have much 4x as he wasn't that loose. Maybe the only combos are A4 and maybe 43s/45s, i obviously block 4x combos as well. I also never give him credit for a nutted hand, mostly as i don't see donks from players at this level as the nuts, i be interested to here if people think otherwise.
