KQs turn question NL25
Hey guys!
Villain: 21/17 3bet: 8,3 3bet SB v CO: 14 (14)
Preflop is std call I think, there are many dominated Kx Qx He could 3bet with.
Flop: He'll cbet his entire range : {TT+ Q9s+ QT+ AJ+, KT, KJ, T9s, FDs, Acxx} --> /maybe few of their hands just check-call to keep low the pot. Q9s QT KJ imho./
Turn: It's very interesting for me. There are 2 kind of flushdraw on the board, and a bunch of GS, or GS+pair combos in my hand range. Therefore He should cbet his valuerange { JJ, QQ, AA, KT, AJ+ }. So turn is a clear checkback imho, and reevaluate OTR, however I've a bunck of EQ or I already have the nuts.
River: Then I took over the initiative, and bet ~half pot, and I put myself into a weird spot. I face to check/raise. I didn't knew what's going on, I calculated pot odds (28%), and I realized I could be favourite with a heart or an other Q or a T, and I just called it... /check-raise line also can be a playable line with the nutted part of his range/.
I stoved a nutted range for him, and got the following results:
Text results appended to pokerstove.txt 1,408 games 0.000 secs 281,600 games/secBoard: Qc 3h Jc AhDead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 71.555% 70.60% 00.96% 994 13.50 { AA, QQ-JJ, AQs, KTs, QJs, Tc9c, AQo, KTo, QJo }Hand 1: 28.445% 27.49% 00.96% 387 13.50 { KhQh }
According this calculation I didn't made a (huge) mistake with my bet/call OTT.
Hindsight it's a pretty easy check-back on the turn to controll the pot with my marginal strength hand...
Ideas?
