JTs Turn decision NL5

Blinds: $0.02/$0.05 (5 Players) UTG: $4.50
CO: $5.09 (Hero)
BN: $3.93
SB: $7.23
BB: $1.97
Villain is 17/17 13(3bet) over 66 hands
Preflop ($0.07) Hero is CO with J T
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.15, BN calls $0.15, 2 folds
Flop ($0.37) J 8 7
Hero bets $0.20, BN raises to $0.50, Hero calls $0.30
Standard cbet though I think in hindsight my sizing should have been a bit bigger. Hadn't seen villain x/r before but I decided to flat call with top pair and gutshot. I also pick up equity on heart turns as well which should help.
Turn ($1.37) J 8 7 A
Hero checks, BN bets $0.60, Hero raises to $2.25, BN calls $1.65
A good card as I pick up equity and I don't think this ace will hit a lot of his range. I check as I think if I lead out and he raises it will put me in a very tough spot and I'm not that unhappy about a free card if he gives one. He decides to bet less than half pot and I'm not sure here whether to flat call and try to realise my equity or to raise and get him to fold some hands he may have raised on the flop with such as JK, JQ.

Though as I'm writing this I may have been better off flat calling to keep all the bluffs in his range and I can call on good river cards (most other than a T I think).

However I decide to raise assuming if he is continuing he will get it in but he calls.
River ($5.87) J 8 7 A 5
Hero bets $1.10, BN calls $1.03 and is all in
On the river I don't think he's ever checking back a hand here so I decide to bet rather than let him bet and I have to call off.

My main decision I think is on the turn and I keep changing my mind as to whether or not I should have called or raised.

If someone could give their opinion on what they would do and why it would be much appreciated :)

Thanks.
