Flop raise in 3b pot, how to get max value?
BN: $61.40
SB: $49.25 (Hero)
BB: $52.03
UTG: $61.96
MP: $69.16
Villain in the hand is 58/23 over 46 hands. He has faced 3 cbets before this: raised one, called one, folded to one. No 3bet pot info. I don't have any notable history with him, and I haven't showed down any particularly interesting hands on that table.
My question is whether it is best to 3bet shove the flop or to call and keep bluffs in his range. If he has a hand like 88 or 99, there will be a lot of turn or river cards he doesn't like and I might lose value. However, sometimes this is a "see where I'm at" raise and he can be comfortable I'm not shoving as a bluff so he will find a fold. Since there are no FDs out I probably am not really semibluff shoving. Shoving the flop doesn't allow him to bluff anymore, but this seems like it may be a one and done kind of bluff when it is a bluff because I don't really call this flop raise with much I intend to fold. Perhaps I should also be calling this raise with AKs with a BDFD? A little lost with how to play my range here. Any thoughts are much appreciated.
