I raise the button to $20 with a strong hand and a loose aggressive opponent calls. He is in the Big blind, so he can have a lot of different hands because he only has to call $10 more to see a flop. He would definately reraise his strong hands, (99-AA and AJ, AQ ,AK) So we can eliminate these hands from his possbile holdings.

He checks the flop to me, I make a standard bet ($30). I often have the best hand here and am not too worried about the K. He makes a small checkraise to $75. If he had a strong hand I would expect him to checkraise bigger, to around $100. There are also not too many strong hands he can have here, maybe a set of 22, 55 or some 2 pairs like K5, K2. I do not think he would call with K5 or K2 offsuit so this reduces the hand combinations of his potential 2 pairs. A more likely possibility is a flush draw or a total bluff making a cheap raise.
Given this analysis I often still have the best hand after his check raise and call.

The Turn brings another overcard, the Jack but the flush draw does not get there. He makes a big bet. This card might look scary, but given the analysis he does not have many Jacks in his hand. If he had a random Jack he probably also would not bet because I could have King.
So this card does not change much at all and I call.

The River brings an Ace, the flush draw does not get there and he makes a big bet. The ace also looks like a very scary card on the surface but when you think about it there are not many aces that he can play like this. Many ace high hands on the flop would just call (because it still kight be the best hand) and not check raise. A2 and A5 wouldmost likey just call my flop bet. He also cannot have AK because he would reraise before the flop. He could however have had the nut flush draw (so an Ax of spades). However I do not think he would bet a weak Ace this big on the river. It is more likely he assumes that I think the Ace is a scary card and wants to take advantage of this by bluffing.
Putting all the pieces together the board run out is not as bad as it looks for our hand and he still has an overwhelming amount of missed flush draws and total bluffs and the occassional set or random 2 pair. - We call
