combosraw facing flop squeeze in 3way 3b pot

Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 (6 Players) BN: $25.00 (Hero)
SB: $24.30
BB: $48.49
UTG: $25.30
MP: $41.35
CO: $52.35
both players unknown
Preflop ($0.35) Hero is BN with 6 8
2 folds, CO raises to $0.62, Hero raises to $1.70, SB folds, BB calls $1.45, CO calls $1.08
Not sure if I'm better off just folding this vs unknown unless I have a better grasp of their game but I kinda still wanna have a (not too wide) 3b bluffing range I suppose
Flop ($5.20) 9 2 7
BB checks, CO checks, Hero bets $3.40, BB calls $3.40, CO raises to $11.25

Super tough spot imo. I think CO's range is super strong and he certainly has all sets, probably 97s and a bunch of better (in terms of SDvalue) diamonds in his range. I still have more than 40% equity vs that range so in a vacuum there is absolutely no way, I can fold. I'm not sure how much the BB plays a role here. It sucks if I entice him to come along with sth like QJdd and I also wouldn't feel supergreat about getting it in 3way with 8 high but I probably still have too much equity to fold this even in that case, right?
If continuing is the right play, are we even better of just shoving? It seems a bit weird because I'm sure CO is ahead. However I feel like playing a turn is only bad for us because the CO might find a herofold with 97s on diamonds but basically always shove on blanks where I have to call it off anyways, except on board pairs maybe.
