So I've been making this play for some time now and I think overall its +EV but I thought i'd run it with the RIO crew for some extra input.

Recently i've been running this strategy (which im sure is not uncommon) in my online and live cash games. It's pretty much luring out a continuation bet on a dry-ish board (e.g. J, 6, 2r) and check raising villan to take down the pot. This seems to be working for me more often than not and I was just wondering whether this is a winning strategy or something I should refrain from doing.

I understand that I can't get away with 'always' doing it because then I become too exploitable as people would pick up on it and start playing back at me.

Note: If I am faced with a call on the flop, thats generally a sign of huge strength and that usually means that I give up OTT. Just a heads up, I am currently playing 10NL Zoom at Poker Stars and 200NL Live at Crown Casino, Melbourne (somewhat soft competition).
